Military Rifle Shoot - Saturday, June 1, 2019 - 9:00 AM till 3:00 PM

Rules – Vintage Rifle

1. Open to any centerfire rifle that was issued to any military organization, manufactured before 1960.
2. Rifle must have issue stock and issue iron sights.
3. Ammo should be of military power, either surplus, factory or reloads.
4. No shooting jacket or slings.
5. $10.00 registration fee for each shooter. The course may be re-shot for an additional $2.00 fee.

1. Open to any centerfire modern military style rifle ( AR, AK, etc.)
2. Rifle may have any stock and any non-magnification sights.
3. Ammo should be of military power, either surplus, factory or reloads.
4. No shooting jacket or slings.
5. $10.00 registration fee for each shooter. The course may be re-shot for an additional $2.00 fee.

Access Improvement to Primitive Camping areas and the Back Areas of the Club Grounds at the CVCC

Members approved making improvements to the access trail to primitive camping areas and to the back side of the club grounds at the April 25 membership meeting. The trail will follow the upper side of the ditch and along the west side of the crop field behind the club house. Improvements will include leveling and installing rock and gravel along the ditch plus perminent seeding of the trail. When completed CVCC Members and Their Guests will have a level, weather resistant route to more easily utilize the resources available in this area of the club grounds. Work will begin as soon as weather permits.

Trap Shooting Starts Thur. April 11th

Spring has finally arrived, the shotgun range is drying out, the trap machine has been repaired and is ready to go! Shake the cob webs out of you shotgun, get some trap loads ready and come on down ready to start shooting at 5:30 next Thursday, April 11th! Weather permitting we will be shooting every Thursday throughout the summer and fall. Cost will be $5.00 per round with shooting continuing until dark. All ages, skill levels, genders as well as the general public are welcome!
