Driftless Folk School to Offer Adult only Hunter Safety Class

WI DNR Hunter Safety Education class starting Tue. Sept. 7, 2010 from
7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Landmark Center. The class will meet on Tue. and
Wed. evenings for 3 weeks - Sept. 7 & 8, 15 & 16, 22 & 23. The instructors
for the class will be Royce Curtis and Corky Roethel. To register for the class
contact the registrar at the Driftless Folk School. Class fee is $10.00. For more

16 New Hunters Certified in the CVCC Internet Based Class
Submitted by SmokepolerRoy on Mon, 04/26/2010 - 12:40pmOn Saturday, April 24 th, 16 students participated in the required Field Day to complete the first ever internet-based CVCC sponsored WI DNR Hunter Safety Education class. The students along with 6 instructors and the District Safety Warden, Bill Yearman, spent the morning outside in the rain shooting .22's and 20 ga.

Students enrolling in this class must complete all lessons and lesson quizzes using the International Hunter Education Association On-Line Course by Saturday, April 24, 2010. Students are required to attend the final field training and testing day at the Coon Valley Conservation Club on Saturday, April 24, 2010.
