Coon Valley Conservation Club has many muzzleloader enthusiasts as members. We have a range for muzzle loader use. We also hold regular muzzleloader shoots including whole weekend outings. We also hold the Coon Creek Rendezvous.

Coon Creek Rendezvous
The 50 yd range and the 200 yd range are open to members and their guests on a first come first served basis. Range rules are posted at each range covering both Safety and types of Targets allowed.
Rifle shoots are scheduled each month with the exceptions of Mar., Nov. and Dec. The Jan. and Feb. shoots are paper target bulls eye shoots. The other monthly shoots offer a variety of targets from 25 yds out to as far as 150 yds. Occasionally pistol shoots are also scheduled. The Apr. and Oct. shoots are events within the Coon Creek Rendezvous and are open to all shooters. Muzzleloader Weekends are scheduled each third weekend of May and September with a variety of events held.
All shoots are open to the public. All shots are from standing, off hand position with only patched round ball projectiles allowed.
The Coon Creek Rendezvous has been around since 2006. It was taken over by the CVCC in 2019. For more details on Rendezvous click here.

📜 Shoot Rules & General Information
- All shoots are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and to all muzzleloader enthusiasts.
- Position: All shoots are standing offhand position.
- Aids/Sights: No telescopic sights or support aids are allowed, including slings or shooting sticks, etc..
- Ammunition: Target loads with lead balls or lead bullets only.
- Safety: SAFETY is FOREMOST. Muzzles must be Up or Down Range at all times!.
- Practice: The Range is open for practice prior to shoots.
- Camping: Camping is also available on the clubgrounds.
