The CVCC Hunter Safety Instructor Team successfully certified all 37 students in this year’s regular WI DNR Hunter Safety Education Class. This was one of the youngest classes we have had with the young ladies outnumbering the young men enrolled for the first time! It was also one of the highest scoring classes with an overall average of 96% on the tests. Four students made perfect 100% averages on their tests. 29 of the students participated in the 3/16/13 .22 shoot under some challenging icy conditions. (Check out the pictures from CVCC member Scott Hobson in the Photo Gallery!) Special thanks to CVCC member Jim Brower for donating the .22 ammo! Afterward they received their awards, CVCC Hunter Safety hats and were treated to a lunch served by CVCC members Bruce King, Paul Lewison, and Gary Gilbeck – Thanks guys! Volunteer Instructors for the class were Steve Pauloski, Hunter Pauloski, Corky Roethel, Lillian Primmer, Don Primmer and Royce Curtis.
The CVCC On-Line Hunter Education class is in progress with a full roster of 30 students preparing for their April 27th Final Field Day.
