For those of us who enjoy “breaking things” with our guns, the upcoming trap shooting season will give us the opportunity to do just that, and in the company of some very fine fellows to boot! As a reminder, this year we will be shooting on Thursday evenings, starting at 6:00. The switch to Thursday was driven by the fact that other Clubs in the area were also shooting on Wednesdays, and the move to Thursday would allow their members to shoot at our Club without a conflict, and our members to shoot at their Club. We do not have teams or leagues, just an open shoot. We usually shoot Wobble Trap, which means the thrower oscillates both horizontally and vertically as it throws the targets. Quite a challenge! If requested, we will set the machine for Standard Trap, with just horizontal movement. Almost everyone shoots their regular hunting shotgun, so don’t feel disadvantaged if you don’t have a trap gun. The cost is still $5.00 per round of 25 targets. We also usually have 12 gauge and 20 gauge ammo available for $6.00 per box. Come on out and join us!
