Nine shooters participated in the 9th annual Smoke in the Valley shoot on Sat, Aug 20, 2011. This was the nineth aniversery of the CVCC hosting muzzleloader shoots. The original idea was presented by Arvid Holey, Bill Marquardt and Royce Curtis and has expanded to monthly shoots, a Spring and a Fall muzzleloader weekend plus a Fall muzzleloader pheasant hunt. All of our shoots are competitive but also fun shoots with lots of shared knowledge from some very experienced shooters. Everyone is welcome to come to the shoots and watch, shoot or just learn about shooting muzzleloaders.
